Is the opposite of Anorexia yet been officially recognised? Or are we larger people just supposed to be in denial? But isn't that just what Anorexia is?

It's my understanding that the mind set is the same for over-eaters as it is for anorexics and that the treatment would therefore be the same, that being the sort of treatment which works on self esteem etc. If you read the Weight Management with Dieting on
www.fatisthenewblack.com you will see this sort of recommendation. There are more clinics for eating disorders now than there ever were with, I believe, more over eaters than anorexics on their books and more men than anyone would have thought - its' interesting to note aswell that more of the "attendents" at such clinics are so-called "high-powered" "intelligent" "middle class" people - this I find particularly interesting as often one reads that fat is an issue for a so-called "lower social class" - in fact, the more you look into it and the more you read about it the whole subject, virtually everything is the opposite to the current thinking propogated by government and media alike
