Once upon a time we were: Frumpy Anxious and Troubled Or so we thought!!! No worries, because today we woke up and realized that we were, in fact: Fabulous Amazing and Triumphant "Wow" said the little elf in our mind, "How did that happen?" "Easy" we replied (Strange isn’t it how we talk to ourselves. If we are doing the talking who is doing the listening?) I digress. "The answer Elf is simple. Today I woke up and gave up the Dreary Introverted Energy sapping Traumatic Way of life" "But you've been on it for years, why give it up now?" Simple! You know the quote 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result' So today I thought I would try sanity instead. Oh the relief the joy. Peace at last. But you are still fat Yes I am Fabulous Attractive and Triumphant thank you for reminding me. You are not!! Yes I am so shush I can't believe it. How can you treat me this way? What way little elf? You know leave me behind, tell me to be quiet. You have been with me for years you cant go now. But elf where am I going? How am I leaving you? We are still talking aren't we? No you are talking. I talk you listen that's the deal Silence! A shaft of light fills the room Whose deal? Stop it! Stop it! NO!!!! Silence I think it might be time for a change Silence. The elf looks around anxiously, frightened what is happening to his world? Finally he speaks Don’t bother me with science you are Frumpy Anxious and Troubled and that’s that!!! But Why? Its what you are supposed to be Who Says? I do But Elf I don't want that anymore why do you? I just do But Why? Oh I don’t know its what I'm used to I suppose But that's not good enough elf where did you get that idea The elf scratched his head and looked around, huffed and puffed a bit, thought really, really hard but just couldn't remember Oh never mind elf it doesn't matter now. Lets not look back we can't change it anyway The elf scratched his head some more and then ping a light bulb popped But we can change it!!! How? Well you see I read once YOU read little elf!! Yes I know it was unusual Anyway don't distract me I read once that it's not what happened its how you choose to look at it that counts Oh Elf I am getting nearly as confused as you we don’t even know what happened never mind how we chose to look at it. But you do have a point you can agree with me now that I am Fabulous Attractive and Triumphant I'd like to but I cant There is no such word as can't little elf, but you are tired so go to sleep we can talk about it again tomorrow, As the elf sleeps a princess awakes knowing that she is truly Fabulous Attractive and Triumphant To be continued………… |
